Can I ask how you know this?
If it's someone elses name at your address I wouldn't be so worried, as credit reports are based on a person, not an address.
It could be fraud, but if it's not in your name I personally wouldn't worry. Perhaps the member of the bank staff who did that person's application keyed in the postcode wrong. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -

I opened the letter that came- the person has the same initals as me and i was chatting to our porter at the time so wasnt really concenrating. And also, the compant they applied with, i had an account with previously so thought it was junk! i know i shouldnt really be opening someone elses post, although here is what it says on the royal mail website
A person commits an offence if they without reasonable excuse intentionally delay or open a postal packet in the course of transmission by post or intentionally opens a mail bag.
A person commits an offence if, intending to act to a person's detriment and without reasonable excuse, opens a postal packet which they know or suspect to have been delivered incorrectly. If it's someone elses name at your address I wouldn't be so worried, as credit reports are based on a person, not an address.
i have never heard of the person, they dont live in my flat, however, there is alot of fraud happening in our complex and my boyfriend had his credit card stolen and used fraudlently. Someone else had an application done fraudlently in his name last week,It could be fraud, but if it's not in your name I personally wouldn't worry. thanks
Don't worry it's fair enough to be a bit concerned especially with what you say is going on. I feel like Experian or whoever wouldn't be interested in even investigating if it's not actually in your name.
Unfortunately that's all I know on the subject, let's see if anyone else on the forum knows any better. You're spelling is effecting me so much. I would send the letter back to the bank with a note saying that the person doesn't live at your address. It's probably nothing but you want to make sure.Wedding 5th September 20150
