Really glad I cancelled SKY

Only wish I'd done it sooner.
I was paying £57 a month for sky (not plus or hd but had movies and sport) with broadband. Finally decided to cancel. Now pay 12.50 a month for broadband and am not tied into a contract with NewNet and have taken out a subscription with Love Film which is absolutely BRILLIANT. You actually get to see the movies you want and not the same old ones doing the rounds on Sky.
Plus, the bonus I hadn't realised. Thought I would have to buy a Freeview box. Didn't realise that the sky box would still give me all the free channels - and how many they are! Film Four included!
The love film subscription is £12 a month but a voucher code gave me 3 months free.
I might look into Freesat in the future as the box price will no doubt drop and you get free HD service with this.
Just wanted to share...

We had sky plus multiroom, but stopped using the box upstairs. It was costing around £60ish per month and we had the sports and movies.
Now we just have sky plus on the one box downstairs, without the movies and the sports and it's only £21 per month.
The best bit is the box upstairs still gives the free channels which is all I really need.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.
