The quotation (post #550) from me as you can see is from March 2004. I can't recommend JuicyBrains now as they never send me surveys direct. They seem to come via Test & Vote nowadays. They still send me their newsletter, though, and it was galling to read in the latest one that they have just recruited 800 new panellists! A few more surveys for existing members would be good!

And as for Pinecone, they've gone mad recently, sending me four in the last three weeks!

Edna, the link you gave is apparently invalid. Wonder what happened there?

Same here ... not had a JuicyBrains survey for as long as I can remember (apart from the odd Test & Vote one). Had no Pinecone ones either for a while, although the Ipos ones are coming in thick and fast ...

Yes, you're right - it now appears to be a non-existent thread. As usual I suspect an over-zealous Moderator (of which we have a plague of from time to time...) deleted it. Very puerile - hopefully MSE might have a bit more confidence in itself one of these days. :(

Increased numbers should promote confidence. There is quite a big, vociferous following here, I suspect.

Strange that there is the zeal to tackle major banks, but a reluctance to stand up to small outfits.

I've just checked my JuicyBrains account ... been a member for years and had no surveys since October 2005! Has anyone got an email address for "Cedric", so I can ask him what's going on?

    Thanks.

Has anyone had any dealings with ipsos? They've just contacted me. Do their surveys normally take place on a site that the address begins as www2.globalepanel.com? Is globalepanel even a kosher survey site address!?!? I have no recollection of signing up with these people, but otoh I might have - I've mislaid my notebook that I use to keep up to date with these things! They say it's for a fragrance survey, but I don't want to find out that it's actually spammers that I've provided with info because I got muddled! Thanks for any info.

i got an ipsos student survey through the post today.

I dont think you sign up, perhaps knowing youre a student means you get one
