I started doing lots of surveys but in the end have stuck with juicybrains and yougov, as the most interesting and rewarding.

None of those annoying ones where you fill in pages and pages only to be told you don't qualify, when you've probably filled in most of the questions anyway!!

The only word of warning I would give to anyone about YouGov is the ridiculously high payout threshold - £50!!!

If it's hard enough getting to the limits others impose, I just wonder how often YouGov actually pays out and how often people just give up. I quote from their FAQs:
YouGov values its members and pays out thousands of pounds to members each month. Our terms and conditions state that we only pay out cheques once you have reached the specified payout level of £50, and not before. This policy has been in place since the start of YouGov and is unlikely to change at the present time, but is reviewed regularly. We want you to be happy with the service you receive from YouGov and would like to thank you for your continuing support.

I'm up to £32.50, though have been a member for quite a while.
You've just got to be patient, and when I do get my cheque at least it will be a nice healthy amount of money!
  • I've had one cheque for £50 from YouGov in the last 12 months, following about five years of form-filling with them!! But things must have improved, as I'm now about half-way to the next one.

On the other hand, I never hear from JuicyBrains now. Just get the surveys they farm out to other companies, like the dreaded Test & Vote.
I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, and I'm not just talking about MY life, I'm talking about everybody's life. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content, I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Heaven, Hell. Do you understand...FINALLY?

I never hear from JuicyBrains these days, either...

...which is actually fine by me because I had a £10 Amazon voucher from them and don't think I've had a single survey since then! Good timing with the voucher then.

Has anyone actually managed to do a Test and Vote survey? The majority I get are Juicy Brains surveys ... they either take an age to load and pack up half way through, or I'm not eligible ...icon9.gif
    Wins since 2009 = £17,600

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS
  • Yes, have done a few, but agree with you about the JB technical difficulties. Utterly frustrating.

I have done a number of Test & Vote surveys, this could be because i am not a member of JB.

Yes - loads in fact. We're also JB members too - agree that you see more JB surveys through other MR companies than direct.
