I requested for payment, and after about 4-6 weeks, I received the cheque in British Pounds, with a letter saying that it's in local currency to reduce bank charges. So they are pretty smart after all....It's a good company. I like it...
Hope that helps.
ps: The company is GlobalTestMarket....couldn't double quote...
Just to confirm that GlobalTestmarket:
http://www.globaltestmarket.com/index.php
do send cheques in GB£, despite the fact that the site is run in US£ and that the rewards equate to 5 cents per point.
I rate them as one of the best because they usually give you at least a few points for your time even if you don't "qualify" after the initial questions - wish the other firms would have the same courtesy!
Sitting looking at a cheque for £27.05 which is probably about the third or fourth this year.0 -
Received my first cheque from them a few weeks ago ... about £38 from memory. Very impressed.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0

Reading this thread make me check some of the sites we're on, and I see we're due another £10 Amazon voucher from Test & Vote (new product on there to register for - 75 points by the way)
Not bad - had 2 £5 Valued Opinion Boots vouchers last week, plus a £10 Next voucher from ShopandScan, and GTMarket cheque already mentioned.0 -
One market research site that I am a member of is Saros Research. They don't do online polls but the organise groups where you go and chat for a couple of hours about a particular topic and they pay well. It is normally about £40 for 2 hours work. They hold groups all round the country. You don't hear from them too often but their groups are well worth their while. I have done several for them now. As always, don't mention that you may have done other studies!!

I have just had an email from TNS and have found a way to join Shop and Scan(where you get paid for scanning your weekly shopping). If you go to their website
https://www.volunteer4panels.com
you can register you interest in taking panels. You can specify which of their panels you want to join and providing they have vacancies they will send you an invitation number. It may take some time for you to hear from them as apparently they send invites depending on the demographics of their volunteers. From the wording of the website it sounds like they have other panels that it may be possible to join!
Sounds good to me!!!!!People die, buildings burn, but true love is for ever.

Quite. Often they are organising the panels for other MR companies anyway.0 -

I've been with Juicy Brains for about 3 years. For the last year, I've not received one survey! Perhaps I ought to change my profile to read I have 6 kids, 3 jobs and a house full of animals ...Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0

Yes, thinking back, I've had the same problems with loading. I'd often spend 10 minutes plus answering questions, only for a note of apology to appear saying the survey couldn't be continued due to technical faults. Can't say I miss them much ...Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
