Airmiles verus BA Miles

I currently convert my Tesco Clubcard vouchers automatically into Airmiles, does anyone know if I would gain more if I switched to BA miles instead. They always seem to make the calculations complicated so I thought I'd short cut to here...someone will surely know!

there was an article in the Sunday Times this week saying that BA are investigating either merging the two schemes or selling them off. Might be worth having a read and seeing what happens before converting(or on the other hand converting your points before they maybe sell off the scheme and potentially lose the link with Tescos)

As far as I'm aware BA has no intention of selling off its Executive Club scheme. However it is interested in doing something with its Air Miles scheme.
