To double or triple check results, or to try the following month or year etc.

Off topic slightly and no connection with these Asda Kits, but anytime I read of cheap pregnancy kits however it reminds me of a story on a forum from years back - lady bought a buy one get one free pregnancy testing kit from a local market (something like £1.50 for them both). She tried one at home and for a laugh so did her boyfriend (you can see where this is going..) - turns out she was not pregnant but he was!!! They decided to double check the results and Dr confirmed she was not pregnant and alas neither was he! After that I think I would always go for a well-known brand to be sure lol

Since pregnancy tests detects the level of hGC present in a women's body which is higher when pregnant, perhaps the bloke in question was just very in touch with his 'femenine side'!:rotfl:

After reading your post though i couldnt resist getting my hubby to try one, you'll be pleased to know it was negative! lol

I bought a pack of 3 really cheap tests, I think they were from poundland or the likes, was a long time ago.
One day I woke up felling pregnant and decided to take a test. Negative, so I did another just to be sure, also negative. I still wasnt convinced so I went accross the road and got a £10 test, it went instantly positive!! lol then I didnt know which one to believe.
7 months pregnant I was moving house and found the 3rd test, did it and guess what? negative lol.
I will never trust those cheap tests again.

Actually a man can have a positive pregnancy test in cases of testicular cancer so it is always a good idea to get these things checked out!
