Tonight: Brand v Budget

Options
I just checked on Martin's Appearances thread and saw the prog's already been posted about there, but I thought I'd post about it here too in case any OSers don't know about it!

It's on at 8pm Friday 13th on ITV1 and here's the blurb!

"Martin Lewis investigates the power of premium brand loyalty, challenging shoppers to abandon their favourite labels for cheaper food, drink and cosmetics."

Should be worth seeing :D

Not as hard to do as you think, my sister today spent £144, only filled the back of her tiny KA & had no real dinners for it:eek:

I do a weeks dinners planning & list according to that. Then shop & some extras/staples too.

But I can't get it under £100 normally.

I think it was Sainsbury's from the labels on the ketchup. I missed the beginning myself.

    It's only a game

It was Sainsburys. It was interesting. I have to admit that my grocery bill for last year was probably huge. Since joining this site and reading on this board, I have realised how much I spent and how much food we wasted. I did the downshift on tins, etc. I now shop smarter and am happy with the choices I have settled.
