Moving a gas boiler

Hya I want to move a gas central heating boiler from a bedroom to the attic in my new house. Does it involve a lot of work, and is it very expensive. It would dramatically change the shape and size of the room. Also are they safe in bedrooms?
Thanks

No shouldent be to expensive for you to do this. its just a case of extending pipework and re drilling to flue. 1-1.5 days. Make sure you use a corgi redistered plumber though as it involves gas work. £250- 300 is my estimate.0

It depends on make, model of boiler, whether it can be moved to attic and what mods need to be made.0

There are a number of regulations involved with having a boiler in your loft space, such as...
Fixed loft ladder. (ie. not a step ladder out of the garden shed!)
Guard and rail around loft enterance.
Permanent flooring from the loft enterance to the boiler.
Permanent lighting around the boiler to allow for an engineer to carry out work/servicing.0 -
Thanks very much0
