The full MOT fee has to be paid, fail or not dont know what garages u use that dont charge for a fail........name them.0

I had a crack in my old Merc manifold and a new oine would really have been appropriate. But we just used Gun Gum it was only a small crack. Mainly because of the risk of seized bolts. You should be OK in a picasso and I think in a 4 year old car you would be better replacing. If it was a 14 year old car I wouldn't hesitate in trying welding but do so at your own risk and accept it might fail or only last a few weeks.0
