Hi everyone
Hope you don't mind me posting either. My first post on here. You are all very inspiring. I'm relatively new to changing all the wee things but I think I have finally seen the benefit. Have been HUGELY underpaying on my electricity with the result I am expecting to be HUGELY in debit. They have only been charging me £26 per month and i was tumble drying everything and to top everything off they read my meter but did it wrong - they read it 5,000 units UNDER what it should be. gulp....... so I have pulled the plug on my tumble, switched off the DVD player and wii which were constantly on standby, switched off the microwave, hung the washing on the screen to dry so am hoping this will all help. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
Also today I have done my free daily scratchcards.......and that's all I think. Oh, and did my first ever wash at 30 - I always do it at 40 or 60 and was surprised to see it was just as clean at 30! :T
Thank you for reading if you got this far!

A big warm welcome to the newbies and well done for achieving what you have to day.
Primula, here is a thread which helps you cut down on gas and elec usage, i found the longer one great, but there was a lot to keep up with!!

Also try inputting your meter readings into imeasure every week as it will give you a rough estimation of what your using and makes you more conscious of it.
