Morning my fellow DFW'rs! I've been MIA for a while but I have a good excuse. I have gone and done possibly the least DFW thing in the world and got myself pregnant! Only kidding- OH and I had been trying for a few months so we are over the moon. Very early days yet (6 weeks) so haven't told anyone in real life, but you lot don't count, right?! I have to say that being pregnant is exhasuting- I used to scoff at people newly pregnant who said that but tis true. Day off today though so all spare energy will be channelled towards making/ saving/ organising money
-Daily scratchies- 10p + 10p
-Do some eBay listing
-Check online banking as it's mine and OH's payday!
-Sort out presents for the millions of birthdays/ anniversaries/ mother's day coming up- have promised to buy a digi camera for one  but the rest will be from present box to make up for this;)
-Plan a frugal buffet for Sunday as I have my whole family coming over for tea- clearly arranged before I knew I was pregnant, feeling sick and knackered. I have to work tomorrow so need to be uber organised.
-Dooyoo review for my suggestion which has just been completed.
Think that's my lot. Happy Friday!

Congratulations GISI!!! If its any consolation, I spent the first three months of my pregnancy asleep! Then after that I really perked up. I used to drop off at my desk at work and my one other colleague in the office used to field my calls, bless him!

Hi everyone, I return once again!
Congrats GISI - if it makes you feel better, I totally got comitted to my finance when I got pregnant in 2006, it was like a kick in the face and my real LBM, I kind of am a lot better with my money now, but I still have lots of fun. Def join the baby clubs to get freebies and vouchers. If you can, start saving bits now for when baby is born, we stocked up on stuff that you need but keeps like washing powder, so it helps you reduce monthly shopping bills etc while on maternity leave.
OK- for myself (incredably broody now, lol)
- I am not planning on spending much today, will stay in & watch comic relief tonight and drink some beers I have in the fridge
- take LO to feed ducks and play on park this afternoon, free fresh air & entertainment
- tidy up a little (or a lot actually)
- take bag of toys to charity shop in preparation for his birthday next month (need to clear some space), money saving for someone else
- do some laundry & dry on airer inside (or maybe on next doors line if rain keeps off)0 -
Goodmorning everyone :hello:
Congratuations GISI - (Orange juice!)
Hugs to Miss P and Llily :grouphug:
