Thanks BB - I'm suddenly very conscious of being a single Mum with a string of unsuitable boyfriends, living in a rough area and having a child on the verge of being kicked out of school. Think I should change my name to chavvles, not snoggles. :o

I think Manc was a sniff of the real world and although I only fancy another sniff, I feel my nostrils tingling :rotfl:

I had a chat with our Skills for Life Manager yesterday about getting on board as a numeracy tutor as well as cookery and the up-skilling stuff I do (spread my wings a bit and get a bit more teaching). I already knew I would need a specific qualification (C+G 9297) as it's working in Basic Skills and although she confirmed this, she said she would have a chat with someone about it. Don't think there is any way around it, but it was nice to hear her say 'we'd love to have you as a Skills tutor' .

Snaggs~Having now read the bit about changing schools I really feel that must be in R's best interests.
I think you would be right to have a chat with the other school.

DH is on the phone to his mate, who was supposed to be coming round tomorrow night. Sounds like he's cancelling, which means I might have been able to do something much more exciting :(

Hugs Snags. You're so not a chav hun. I'll have a read, and ask our SENCO on Monday see what he can advise ;)

Oh, and I've just been out for my first run :T
