Budget Planner

Hi there Everyone.

I made use of the budget planner on this site and found that it didnt exactly meet my needs so i set about to change the spreadsheet so it was more suited for what i was looking for but along the way i ended up thinking i'll start from stratch.

In my haste and possibly boredom (as had been unemployed for a while now and wanted something logical and useful to do to keep the mind active) i set about to work out what the possible NI and Tax that would be paid on different incomes either per week per month or per annum.

So i set about and got a copy of the current and planned personal allowances for next year so i could work out what i would be earning (roughly) as to start paying off debt and also saving for my upcoming child.

Main reason for doing this is so that i could evaluate yearly monthly and weekly (if applicable) my pay should be after Tax and NI.

Especially as when the 10p tax was in force i was being charged the basic rate which was 22p and ended up getting roughly about a £100 Pcm written off my wages. All because of a lost P45 and then another lost P46 at the employer i was at at the time.

As said above it was mainly a little project that i was using for my own purpose and then though that theres got to be someone else thinking along these lines so i thought i'll modify it a tad bit more (to be a bit prettier as it was a shambles b4hand) and then see if it can be of any use to people whether Jobseekers (like I was) or just people curious at what that promotion really means financially.

Anyhow if anybody is interested in either helping out with this to make it more usable or if it is you just want to have a look then PM me.

Thanks for all the you guys have given me over the last few months
