Halifax credit card 6.95% life of balance cheques

Hi, has anyone else had these sent to them by the halifax? It says that there is no handling fee to pay on this offer. That would make it a good offer then seeing as my M&S has just finished the 0% offer (now 15.9%) and I cannot get another 0% card. I'm going to make sizeable repayments each month too. what do you think?

I received the same offer at the weekend, and am going to use the cheques to make a balance transfer (well actually I'm going to call them quoting the code on the letter that came with them as it's faster than writing out a cheque and waiting for it to clear the other end). Makes sense to use offers such as this with existing credit cards - anything that saves you spending out more money than you have to is a good thing, and you can always switch the balance again when a better offer comes along
