A very odd, personal one!!

Sorry if this ends up getting deleted its an odd one for sure!!

Me and my other half wanted too add some excitement to our sex life and online we found a guy who offered "photo shoots" for his clients and we would earn £150 a time out of them.
We went to him for a sort of audtion I suppose and he paid us £20 petrol money for travelling to him.
Since then he keeps demanding that we should work as part of a threesome with him, which neither me or my OH are comfortable with.
He has cancelled "bookings" many times with us, but on the last one he cancelled he emailed me to say that it was cancelled at short notice by the clients and we would get paid £50 for this.
He now seems to be hard to get hold of, I have had no money and hes taking the right biscuit with it all, and we still have had no bookings or shoots.
Please dont start with sarcastic remarks, I feel bad enough as it is over this and I just want to know if I can report him to someone as I dont want him to carry on like this and take advantage of younger girls or so on.
I do not think he is a real person in that business and I want to stop him being able to do things like this.
Any advice would be muchly appreciated.

The expression in the modelling world is : GWC = Guy with Camera - someone who poses as a professional photographer to catch unwary newbie models.

The long and short of it is: you've been had, and I doubt that you'll ever get anything from him.

Since you presumably have had no contracts with him apart from the variable verbal one which you would have difficulties to prove, and you haven't actually carried out any "work" for him, there is precious little you can do. At any rate, you would be treated as freelance/self-employed anyway, and with no terms in place in case of cancellation at short term, you're stuck.

As for reporting him, to whom? He hasn't actually broken any law.

Sorry, but you're on a non-starter on that one, I think.

I do have emails from him if those would count as proof of verbal contractsm can I stop him from using the photos he took?

Ah, now that's trickier.

If your e-mails show an agreement to pay in exchange for pictures, then you have grounds to pursue him for monies owed, but then if he paid, you couldn't really stop him using the pictures.

If the e-mails just show arrangements to meet up and then cancellations, the freelance thing kicks in and since you presumably never established cancellation terms, then you can't pursue him for that really.

Can you stop him using them? You'd have to go to court (think Pamela Anderson or Paris Hilton) to get an injunction and that would be throwing more bad money away, let's face it, if they find their way on the net, you'll spend your time chasing websites to take them down and what not... Life's too short. In all likelihood, they will be kept for *ahem* private use anyway, and since you refused to play further, it may even be that he didn't get what he really wanted out of it.

In all honesty, I think you'd be better off drawing a line under it and get on with your life, chalk it down to experience and not let it eat up at you.

Are you mad? The cat is well and truly out of the bag. If your pics ever hit the internet then you will be famous for all eternity. I guess thats one form of eternal life!

Never let anyone take pics of that nature unless they use YOUR own camera and give it to you back.

As it is,now he has your pics,could have duplicated them endless times,put them on the internet,whatever..!!

Upload some 'un-draped' pictures of yourself and your OH, and i'll see if I can arrange something.

If you want to get a little 'revenge' due to his dubious behavour you could always be a model citizen and contact HMRC to check that his income from these photos and shoots is fully declared.....
