Havent seen it advertised and think that all shops should offer discounts etc as other countries do more for their serviceman / woman then the uk does.

There are a number who advertise in the MoD Discounts brochure, and some will if you just ask!!
The brochure is available online or from various places on Units.0 -

But why should people ask? They should be given a card that gets them discounts on food shopping, meals out and things such as holidays, train tickets etc. W e don't do enough for people who are at the frontline both overseas and at home such as Policeman, Nurses and Fireman.end the tv tax0 -
My husband is in the RLC and he shops at Burton as they do a good militaty discount.0

most give a 10% discount, but most will give you a 10% discount anyway if you just asked without showing your ID card.If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
My friends a nurse and she gets something like 33% discount at dominos same goes for police & firemen so am sure this will extend to servicemen & women0

given a card? perhaps they could include a picture on it and your service and service number too.You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0 -
Servicemen get 50% discount at dominos pizzas. Never ordered one myself but my husbands friends at Brize Norton used to regularly0

you have to ask, I am both ex-military and police, but if they don't know you, then ask, flash your warrant cards and away you go, also look on the forces reunited website they tell all about discounts.

As I have mentioned before check the original price as some times discounts are from inflated prices, and searching on the net you can sometimes find it cheaper as with anythingMortgage
