Hello everyone, just wanted some help really.. im due to go on maternity at end of June, i was previously a relief member of staff, but they have now made me perm so i get better maternity benefits, I Have known all along that my job is not safe and it was kidn of on a day by day one.
Anyway, as ive been made perm, when i finish maternity my job more then likely wont be there, so i will be entitled to redunancy pay, ANY Idea roughly howw much i would be entitled too?
The maternity im entiled too is 90% of take home pay for first 6 weeks then 12 weeks at half and smp and then 26 or 33? at SMP
i earn 7.50 a hour and do 24 hours a week.
Many thanks if you can help!
I would be able to work it out myself normally lol but im having bad bad pregnancy lack of brain cells lol!

You would be eligible for statutory redundancy pay is you have worked there as a permanent member of staff for 2 years or more, when did you start as perm?
If you qualify for that, it then depends on your age - so how old are you?
Unfortunately if you don't qualify for SRP then unless they offer something as a company redundancy pay, then you won't get anything. Your contract will have details about company pay for this, we wouldn't be able to advise on it as there's no way of knowing what they may pay you.0
