It was your choice to leave your job, why should you expect any help from the taxpayer, it's not our concern whether you were, or were not, treated like a naughty school by your employer.

What is it with everyone here, quick to judge without giving any constructive advice which is all the guy asked for. Some people need a purpose in life other than judging others without having had a full discussion to take in all the facts that surround these circumstances.

I refer people back to my previous posting and ask them to think about things. This kind of quick to judge type of peronality without the need to want to explore further before coming to an opinion is why we have so many biggots in the world which makes it a far less pleasant place to live !

It really winds me up when people make this kind of post!

When people ask for advice on this (or any other) forum it is not for others to second or third guess what may be going on behind the scenes.

If your understanding of the benefit regulations is that the OP is not entitled to anything due to some circumstance he has described then fine, it is helpful to say so.

However, if you simply feel that he shouldn't be entitled to something because you don't happen to agree with the rules, then take you comments to some political debate or write to your MP.

You have no possible idea if the OP's reason for leaving was justified or not, nor is it any of your business to guess his thought process.

If its not your concern then why bother posting a reply

The OP's falling out with his employer is not my concern, but wanting tax-payer funded benefits following on from his resignation is.

perhaps you need to start going door to door on your average council estate to see how many people are having a large slice of your money
  • hi, my mothers friend left his job because "he didn't like it" and got JSA. give them a call, if needs be and you have a reasonable reason for leaving it will go to a panel to decide. but give it a go. don't lose out on any more money by delaying.

You don't have to wait until the new tax year to become self employed. Just go for it. It makes no odds as to when you start.

What type of business are you planning? I'm sure there are people on here who can offer advice and tips a plenty.
