electric meter broken?
Hi,
Had our electric meter read Feb 23rd. I generally make a note of the reading so I can check it against the statement when it arrives. As far as I can tell the meter reading hasn't moved since then, over two weeks ago. Probably a daft question but is it stuck, broke, whatever?
If it is faulty, is my first contact point our energy supplier?
Thanks,
x

Yes, if it is faulty you should contact your energy supplier who will arrange for a replacement to be fitted - free of charge of course.
You may find your last and next bills will be based on estimates as a result of the faulty meter."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Had a statement today so hope they'll estimate from last reading. It's an old style meter but no idea how old as only moved here two years ago.0

Rang them last night, earliest it can be checked is March 27th. Hope the engineer does bring a replacement meter with him. And, yes, they'll estimate usage between now and then - not much else they can do really. Good thing I noticed it when I did.0
