Francophile i think thats why our wee forum works so nicely......a good mix of people of all ages and from all different backgrounds pulling together thier combined knowledge to make ours the BEST local board IMO!
Although i see where your comming from-i wouldnt be too interested if it was held in the beach club or something (and im 28!) the music would drive me bonkers,lol,and places with loud music are always far from moneysaving,lol.Where was it held the last time Arkonite_babe?

We ended up spending the day in The Bridge bar in Belfast (Wetherspoons) As we had no way for definite of knowing who was coming for sure or at what times people would arrive, I sat there in my MSE t shirt like a lemon waiting for strange people to come and talk to me

It ended up being a real laugh and plenty of chat and craic. I enjoyed putting faces to names.

happymummy, I love your idea and you and hubby getting all carried away and having a Glasto style meet up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:now that would be the ultimate event!!!
