Possibilty of a Northern Ireland Meet

Hi all

after some suggestions I'm posting a poll to see how many people would be interested in meeting up on an unofficial basis for a bit of craic and a get to put faces to names kind of thing.

No dates or anything else even thought about yet, just putting some feelers out to see how many would be interested in coming along!

I'm so tempted to go and meet all you lovely people but I'm with belfastgirl23, I like the anonymity... if I did know anyone in real life I'd be shocked!!! :rotfl:

Im actually quite surprised that their arnt more yes votes......!
My husband(is the chef/manager of a local deli) has offered to donate the food for a big BBQ-he will supply that aswell- and cook for it if we get an outside park or something in the summer........actually we got abit carried away with talking about it last night and it turned into a Glastonbury style event with music and tents ect haha!
I think its such a nice idea as so many times i personally come here asking for advice and help or sometimes just to try and help someone else so much so it really does feel like my own nice community and i would really like to spend a few hours with you all just to say hello and thanks!
I can understand liking the anonimity aswell though so each to their own:D

It will be interesting just to see the end results of the poll.

I can understand people wanting to keep being anonomus (sp?) I have been on a few meets on another forum and now have some fab fab friends that I wouldn't have met otherwise. I would be up for it if the date suited.

I have to say I'd be a wee bit nervous. I like the anonimity the forum affords but a good night out meeting like minded people is enticing. However I'm in my 50's and I suspect a lot of you are young things so it's hard to know. I'm a definite maybe.
