M&S car insurance tip

I did a car insurance quote with fool http://www.fool.co.uk/insurance/car-insurance.aspx and I got a quote of around £750 with M&S. It then gave me a link to their M&S website which I followed. I then ran through this quote on the M&S website without changing anything and at the end it gave me a quote of £580!
I don't really know if this is a tip or just something weird, but it might be worth checking out even if M&S doesn't give you the lowest quote.
