cheapest transfer girona to tossa

Hello my budget break is becoming increasingly more expensive and I am looking for the cheapest way of travelling from girona airport to tossa de mar. our flight is not due to land until 16.30 and I am not sure if there will be public transport available - poss a bit risky if we are delayed....

Also can we get a train direct from tossa to barcelona?

Looks like there are only 2 buses a day and the 2nd one is at 14:30.

That's true for the direct buses. But if you look at the Sarbus website there appears to be a bus leaving the Girona bus station (NB not the airport) at 18.30 and arriving at Tossa de Mar at 19.30. The fare is just over 5 euros. I would also use the bus to get to Barcelona. The service is pretty good, but is subject to traffic delays.

Use the resorthoppa bus google it very reasonable book online picks up at the airport they have representatives inside to point you in the right direction I have used it three times in last 18 months never had a problem

If you want to investigate trains, https://www.renfe.es is the website for the Spanish train company. The Deutsche Bahn site (db.de/en) has timetable information for the whole of Europe.

The northern coastal towns on the Costa Brava like Tossa are not on the rail-line. The railway goes inland south of Lloret.

Hi there,

I have looked at http://www.shuttledirect.com/en/airport/GRO/policy.php
they pick up directly from and to the airport. Cost is around 9 euros each way.

thanks everyone I have found a price of £34.04 for 2 adults return (total cost) shuttle service with Travel Republic. Anyone used their service before? Also we are going to be staying at San Eloy outside of tossa does the shuttle service drop you at hotel or just at one point in Tossa??
