Hi All,
Can anybody advise me on a wireless doorbell to buy?
We have been in our present house for 5 years now and i must have bought 6 or 7 of them just for them all to break. I have had everything from top of the range to bottom of e-bays hong kong range.
Its getting bad now we have been without a bell now for over a year and i missed the takeaway liat night!
I am willing to give any another try providing i get some nice positive first hand feedback on it!
Cheers Guys, Ben

Hi We have had this one from Argos for about 4 years now and no problems. you can get one with more plug in units if you like but the advantage of this one is that you can take the portable unit out to the garden with you and it just about works in our summer house about 120/130ft away from the doorbell

What do the chimes sound like? I've listened to millions of these doorbells and hate them all. I just want a normal ding dong, which I can't seem to find. The majority seem to go, ding dong dong.0

Why not bite the bullet and install a conventional wired one - they last forever, probably less effort in the long run than changing a wireless one every few years.0

We had a Micromark MM23210 which was absolutely rubbish. It strugged to set off the chime which was about 10 meters away. We changed the battery that came with for a new one but it was still very hit and miss!0

We got one from Wilkinsons, just £3.95. Nothing special, but it does the job. Cheap enough when it needs replacing.0

Consider a knocker, such as this: http://www.screwfix.com/prods/35195/Ironmongery/Door-Furniture/Door-Knockers/Antique-Lion-Door-Knocker-Black
:rotfl:Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0
