    'How it works'

The Razorpit is developed on the basis of a collection of scientific research results, which have, in depth, researched the reason for the extremely rapid dulling of, otherwise, highly technological razorblades. By molding a form of the modern razorblade, it is possible to establish the reason for the, generally, short lifespan of High-Tech razorblades from for example companies like Gillette.

By cutting through the mold with a diamond-blade and polish the cut, so that the impression of the blade becomes completely apparent, it became possible through the use of a microscope, to zoom in on the cut, in a ratio of 600 times and thereby gaining a clear impression of the degeneration of the razorblade. The degeneration of the razorblade which caused it to no longer function at its optimal potential. It would turn out though, that this was not an actual degeneration, but merely a condensing of hair-, skin- and soap residue.

It would therefore, have to be possible to do something about this problem of razorblades dulling down, due to this simple condensation of hair-, skin- and soap residue. The result is Razorpit as it exists today. A revolutionary hygienic tool which will give completely new life to your razorblades and let you use the same blade up to one-hundred-fifty times.

I'm still none the wiser! :D

I am looking at getting it but want opinions first desisaver

As to what it does you place your razor in the device and it cleans and maintains it. Thus leaving you with a extra 150 odd shaves as it prolongs the lifes of the blades. When 5 blades cost me a tenner each time and after 5 shaves I have to change the blade this is deffo moneysaving. in my case in the region of £300pa

I have one! Well not personally my OH. I ordered something from ebay and the seller sent this by mistake but then refunded me anyway, so a freebie!

Anyway we think it's very good, keeps that blades sharp and they last for ages - the only ones you cant use it on are the ones covered in thin strips of wire. Given the price of some of the better razor blades you can buy these are a bargain!

Mine is slightly different to the picture but more or less the same product, I'll try and find the exact one for comparison.

This is the one I had sent to me, like I said though it was sent by mistake so you might want to find another ebay seller if your planning to buy from there!

All you do is put the razor in the device, hold a button down for 5 seconds, and hey presto, nice sharp blade!

  • I am one of the people behind RazorPit. It works by removing excess soap, skin and other things that is left on the blade after a shave. These things are not removed from the blade normally because of the small size of these things. But these small leftovers will cause the blade to feel dull before the blade is actually bad.

Hope this explains how it works a little better. Otherwise you are more than welcome to ask.
