PostalForce - SCAM

My wife today got a card in the post from PostalForce (obviously designed to trick people into thinking it's Parcelforce) to say they were unable to deliver her item as it was perishable.
Slightly suspicious for numerous reasons:
1) The number they give to call for delivery is an 09 number, the small (as in tiny) print on the card says £1.50 per minute, maximum duration 13 minutes!
2) They put a 2nd class stamp on it, which if they were a delivery company who had tried to deliver an item, obviously wouldn't be needed!
3) They had got our address wrong
4) My wife hadn't actually ordered any goods, perishable or otherwise.
Watch out, and spread the word to your friends and neighbours, in case they get one of these too,
I'll attach a scan of the card when I get a chance to.

A friend of mine who lives in Bedfordshire had a neighbourhood watch leaflet through their door the other day re this scam. It stated that a postcard bearing a picture of two hands passing a baton set against a blue sky background had beeen delivered to several addresses in the area with instructions to dial 09050 000 165 to arrange a delivery. It gave the false impression that it came from Royal Mail. >:(...and then the window licker said to me...0

Not this again >:( ! If you've still got the card make a complaint to ICSTIS http://www.icstis.org.uk/ they regulate the premium rate numbers in this country.
It is also usefult to register your adress with the mailing preference service to stop getting junk mail- chances are they've bought your details.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
I was already registered with the MPS - don't worry, I reported PostalForce to them, and ICSTIS. Getting quite used to doing this now.0
