My favourite is the Discount Brand one that Tesco sell by Oak Lane, it's 75p for a 730g squeezy bottle. It's not as sweet or vingar'y (sp?) as most. HTH

I agree about the discount brand in Tesco, I am normally quite fussy with tomato ketchup but I can't tell the difference between this and other top brands.
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • We use the value stuff in a heinz squeezy bottle - no one notices - first time I bought a squeezy bottle and a value one - took out half the heinz stuff and put it away in a jar in the fridge - then mixed the value on with it.

Second time I put in 1/4 hienz stuff then topped up with value stuff

Third time 1/8th again topped it up -

Now I just put in the value stuff.

they have no idea and by doing it gradually they didn't notice the slight change in taste!

I have quite expensive tastes mostly, but I LOVE the ketchup they use in kebab shops (in the big straight up squezzy botles), I much prefer it to Heinz. I did buy a bottle off my local place once, but they charged me £5, so more than Heinz!!!
