Atlantic E + G - '13th month rebate - any point in switching?

I've been on dual fual with Atlantic since switching to them from BG over 4 years ago.
I've found their customer service to be top notch and felt that their tariffs were pretty close to the cheapest.
Martin is now suggesting it's time to switch and I'm pondering. The '13th month rebate' is a problem for me. I'm never sure whether the comparison websites take it into account when producing like-for-like stats.
Does anyone:
1. know for sure whether this is so
and
2. have a feel for whether Atlantic are generally competitive?

If you click on any tariff on a comparison website, it will include details of the basis the annual price was arrived at.
e.g. using UKPower.co.uk, it states for Atlantic
"8.5% discount off the total annual bill. This is paid by cheque in your 13th month of supply.""Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
