Could someone reccomend a home insurer thats BR freindly?

    Hi Jenni and thanks to everyone else for their replies on Insurance!

    Havent got our fees back yet! Went up that day and still didnt have (in their opinion) the correct paperwork! We ahev our OR interview on thurs morning at 9am (face to face) and its round the corner from court so gonna try and do it all together! Gonna pop another post up about where we are at. Hope you are well jenni! x

    I am with the AA for my house insurance and it does state on the paperwork that they will stop your insurance if you go bankrupt, hence the reason why I have been looking at other options. Suppose you don't really know until you ask.

    It doesn't state that on mine. It says you must inform them if you become bankrupt, which i promptly did. They got back to me the following day to say it was fine and sent me an ammended policy acknowledging my bankruptcy but everything else stayed the same. AA = bankrupt friendly...at least in my experience.

    We are with Tesco home insurance, who are in fact RBS.

    They are BR friendly, nothing in their T & C's about it, we have recently made a claim and they paid out fine without any problems.
