Could someone reccomend a home insurer thats BR freindly?

Hi all,
I remember a post a while back that reccomended an insurance company that was fine when Bankrupt but I cant remember which one it was? I need to set up buildings and contents asap. I'm sure there was a one mentioned where you got £50 cash back for each policy taken. Can anyone remember which one it was and is that offer still on?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
;) Heres to a brand new start!!;)

  • The AA were fine with Contents Insurance inc Accidental Damage, and told them that we are going BR, and had no problems.

Thanks everybody! Will ring round a few of the suggested ones later today! Off to the court again now to see if we can get our court fees refunded as we didnt have enough info on court day so we had to pay full wack and try and claim it back! Wish me luck!

  • I am with the AA for my house insurance and it does state on the paperwork that they will stop your insurance if you go bankrupt, hence the reason why I have been looking at other options. Suppose you don't really know until you ask.

but all mine ever says is Goodbye!
  • Just to let you know, when I tried to do a quote on-line, it would not let me - I then had to phone them and told the lady that we are both going BR, and this is also on my paperwork to state this - so maybe it depends on other factors too!

Hi Zandy, the problem with verbal agreements is that if you do make a claim and it is in writing on the t and c's that BR will terminate the cover UGH!
Or does your paperwork not have this clause in it?
