creation consumer finance

I had taken out finance with a local shop and creation were the company whom the loan was with.
Upon realising they had put PPI on the loan which I do not require I contacted them direct to ask for it be removed as I was mis-sold - I had an income protection policy of my own.
They fobbed me off for a few weeks saying they needed a copy of the credit agreement and would then be in touch. I managed to find an email address for creation and the member of staff dealing with the complaint which then worked a treat at them responding much quicker !! info@creationcf.com
If you get a letter from a member of staff place a dot between their first and surname then complete with @creationcf.com. It worked for me.
They have now removed the PPI which reduced the monthly payment but there were outstanding arrears at which they tried to charge me at the previous monthly repayment !! Sneaky and charges for the non payment whilst the dispute was ongoing @ £25 a month !!
Ive asked for the loan to be rewritten at the original amount of £1300 over 36 months, they have offered this at the original rate of 29.8% which would be about £69 a month OR a settlement on the account of £1872 over 36 months at a rate of 10.29% which would be £59.94 a month.
Am still awaiting a breakdown of how they get my settlement figure to £1872 which is £572 more than I borrowed.
Would be interested in anyone elses advise and thought this might be of help to someone.....
Also interesting, their website www.creationcf.com you account can be accessed with account number, agreement number & DOB - NO PASSWORD. REQUIRED !!!

Hi, have just had hours worth of problems trying to sort out my credit file, as it has been damaged by bogus arrears with Creation. Phoning them was useless as they would not talk to me about the problem and advised me to write via snailmail!!! google search brought up this thread, and low and behold within 5 minutes I have spoken to someone in the correct department ('lady' earlier told me they dont recieve phone calls!!!!!) and it is being 'looked into' Feels like a victory already! thanks so much0
