To be fair, she may have been asked the same question 10 mins earlier and gone and checked in the stockroom previously.

Of course though, if that were the case, she should have politely told you so to avoid you thinking her dismissive. ;)

    Pleased with my trip today.

Bumped into a friend in Boots - checked she had an AC - no. Asked if she wanted to use mine - she was spending over £20 on 2 No 7 items she wanted as, in addition, she wanted the lilac bag so I got her 150 points for a £20+ spend and she got her bag and No 7 voucher. She did offer the voucher to me but being a friend I showed her what she could buy with the voucher with little additional spend. She also went away with a form to fill in to get an AC card.

I then got a few bits and bobs that I needed including 4 SC masks which took spend to just over £10 so got No 7 voucher. As I was just putting my purse away the SA starting serving the next customer - asked him if he had an AC - no - so I piped up "would you like to use mine?" He agreed. His spend was over £10 - he didn't want his voucher so the SA gave it to me. With the No 7 vouchers got 1 eye make-up remover - cost £1 and with the other got the lip & eye sheen & mini pre-holiday pack on bogof so 50p for both.

Again, at the check-out person next to me didn't have an AC so, she too, used my card and I got her points.

When I got home I realised that I had been overcharged for some anti-perspirant - tried phoning - too late - so have sent an email. (Is this what others have done in similar circumstances - I know I won't be able to get back to Boots again for another week? Previously, I would have felt annoyed at the overcharge but possibly not done anything about it. (Hang my head in shame.))

Pre finding this forum I wouldn't have done any of the things I've done today i.e accosting total strangers and offering to let them use my card.

When telling DH and teenage sons' of my adventures they just shake their heads. One of them keeps saying 'you can't do that - it's stealing' I'm not honest. I'm just following what's being done on this thread. So, once again, a huge thank-you to all contributors.

Hi all - have been everywhere except Boots this morning, argh!

Need to deliver more children to various places in a mo, will then definitely go to Boots. Looks like trying a new one is out as children will need to be collected - so inconsiderate! ;)

So off to the big one at the mall - at least they usually have more reduced stuff that our local one - still hoping to get an organiser for £5.00 using my voucher! Will use the other voucher for the glossy locks stuff and the sun pro shimmering eye and lip stuff - would never normally buy these at full price, but the voucher means that I can try them out!

Popped into M&S and bought some lotion this morning that is meant to be like a mini face lift - will let you know how it compares to all the Boots stuff - if nobody recognises me tomorrow I shall know it worked!

Freebie - your party sounds like a brilliant idea, I think I'll do something like this for dd1's birthday, she'd love it!

Pash - I use Pah! a lot, thought it was just me! :D I'm now wondering how I can work POTATO into conversation, that'll confound 'em! :rotfl:

yeah i was well chuffed (as in happy!) with me idea! dont forget to send round some emails and ask at the beauty counters and teh skin advice area in boots and get some freebies for the girls :!

i find smiling very sweetly and using a girlie voice and saying "id really appreciate it if youd check or take a look for me, thanks" works wonders (tho it really does help to have a cute face- and now thru no fault of my own i look even cuter, i told the hairdresser, older, sexy, no she makes me look 'cuter' bu**er! i got id'd buying super glue on friday!!)

    Hi guys,
Firts time I have posted so bear with me....(have lurked on here for months and especially enjoyed time delay and EI extravaganza's!)
    Went Bootsing today and bought:
8 of the skin clear masks
    1 lynx click
    and a deodorant
£10.69 spend 14 points 800 points for masks and 50 for lynx click! And No 7 Voucher!!!
The SA was a bit of a jobsworth who kept coupons out "to check you get correct points" when releasing my No 7 voucher and change she looked at the recept, looked at the points and just shoved it all in my hand!!!
    I was like thanks!!!
Now have to make a deciosn on what to spend No7 voucher on!
Thanks to everyone who posts on here as in the last few months I have £70 on my boots card for minimal spend!

Hi Freebie, glad to know that Boots is helping you! ;)

Bit of a mixed trip to Boots yesterday!

    1. Used point to buy electrical item - great, reduced and have been after one.

    2. No 7 hair spritz and no 7 lip shimmer - £5.50 bogof, used voucher, cost 50p

    3. No 7 organiser + free lilac bag (girl was just asking her manager how to override the till, he said just try it, and to their surprise it went through - they were quite happy about it though! :D Got 3 pantene items, all reduced but 2 went through at over the reduced price, also no multisave (still only about £1.00 diff - but still a bit miffed!) Got NC ginger and lime bath stuff, didn't go through as Bogof  , got 5 face masks & got lots of points, also got MF brushes, girl at counter told me that they were free with any two purchases, new they'd go through anyway, so left the two make up bits on the no 7 shelf!

So for transaction 3 I got 802 points, another no 7 voucher, a free lilac bag (with organiser that originally cost £15.00, on special at £9.99 and used voucher to take it down to £4.99 :T ) Also got free MF brushes ;) But still can't help being peeved at spending more on NC and pantene than I needed to, as I was overcharged! I know I should be grateful that I got the organiser and lilac bag though :o :rotfl:
GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£400

Which product from No7 did someone say is the same as the Johnsons lotion which is supposed to tan you gradually? And is it BOGOF?

It was No 7 Sunkissed Body Moisturiser, apparently has exactly the same ingredients as the Johnsons stuff, although didn't check just trusting a No7 SA (dangerous I think  ). It is £8.50, but there is a £2 off voucher in ACM, so with voucher £1.50. Not on BOGOF.
