    Hi mummysaver :)

Didn't think you were supposed to keep toiletries on the windowsill - doesn't the sun make them "go off"?

Why not keep it in the fridge if you like it extra cool? <shivers!>

    Hi Dave

Not much chance of any sun shining through my window at the mo! But yes, when the weather warms up I don't keep stuff on the window sill! ;) If I put anything in the fridge in this house someone would probably eat it - yum, anyone for eye gel on their ice cream! :rotfl:

had my daily fix of boots so i have a nice grin on my face and feel aaaaahhh

anyway here goes..this is what i had today...

three packs of bodyform 3 for 2
    no7 no streak wipe......1.50
trevor sorbie old style packaging shaving foam...1.00
haribo starmix(ok kids were with me) 99P
    bottle of coke......95p
    5 packs of s/c masks.......89p each
    ts hairgel old style packaging.......44p
also had another no 7 sunless tanning wipe, but had it taken off this sale as when i went to use my 2 250 point vouchers from the lilac bag even though i had 2 items only one voucher would go through...

then i gave her the point vouchers and 3 of the £1.00 bodyform vouchers..
which brought the total to 9.17, but no sign of a £5.00 boots voucher being issued, even though i said i did spend over 10.00 it was the bf money off coupons thant brought it under, so i bought 2 cadbury's cream eggs and a pack of chewing gums... so total cash spent was 10.15

next sale1.50 for no7 sunless tanning wipe, and used the voucher for 250 points which was from the lilac bag.

so in this visit i gained 1078 points... so my total cash spend was £11.65

so with the cash value of the points gained and the 5.00 voucher techically i have gained £4.13

i have got a headache now with all that maths.....hope you could make sense of it..........

Well I had a good day too, have you noticed the 100 point offers on the Lynx Click (the new fragrance) out of the AC Point? Well I bought that at £1.99 and the SA scanned the coupon 3 times (which does not normally work, it normally tells you to destroy the coupon if scanned more than once) and I got 300 points back on my card. Therefore they have paid me £1 to buy the product. Great work
IF I HAVE BEEN OF USE TO YOU, THEN PLEASE CLICK THAT THANKS BUTTON :)

I think someone said yesterday that Debenhams are having it in NEXT week. :)

My friend and I both got the free Clinique in Debenhams in Cheltenham on Saturday. Maybe varies from store to store.

    Good day at Boots today.

Returned No7 Instant Radiance as made my face very tight - £13.50 on gift card.

    5x SC masks - £4.45 +500 points
1/2 price mini mode clothes which were not in store new that long ago - triple points from PC voucher.

Got No7 voucher and used it towards gift set with 5 lip glosses which are currently a 1/3 off so should of been £15 now £4.99 plus bought some more masks and got another voucher!!

I wondered whether these were still on offer, assume then that the make up folder thing must still be as well - forgot to look when I went in today  Will be trotting back to Boots tomorrow then!

I couldn't resist and went to Boots this afternoon.
I got 10 face masks (with one 100 points voucher) and a real bargain: Flower therapy Orange flower & Calendula Bath Salts. These were marked as 74p each, but they came up as 49p each!!!! They look great and will be very good for gift set.

I got 1003 points with my shopping today for £9.88 spend. I asked the SA to put the chewing gum on to come up to £10, but she said they ran out of the vouchers!!!!!! So, I skipped chewing gum.

Anyway, when I came home, I got a nice surprise from Boots - I have recieved £10 gift card. I bought No7 nail polish that was reduced to 75p, but came up as £3 on reciept and I noticed only late in the evening. As it was bought in other city and I was going on holiday, I called CC and they asked to send the reciept and promised to refund the difference in points. Thank you Boots!!!

You can always ring CS and tell them and they will give you extra points for not getting your voucher.

Yes, tried the time delay moisturiser as it was rated so highly in the Beauty Bible. Almost as soon as it went on, I felt my skin start to itch. Couldn't wait to get it off. I assumed it was the AHA's working away....I can use their toner, though, and it think it has AHA's in to some degree.
You could have gradually become sensitised to the ingredients, I suppose. That might explain why you had no problems at first..

Hope this is of help Dave!
Thanks Hazel01 - you're probably right about a gradual sensitivity to the ingredients. Have tried samples of some really posh and expensive moisturisers over the years and so many of them are drowning in perfume. Favourite so far was Clinique's DDML - just don't go near their skin stripper (aka clarifying lotion! :D)

What are AHA's? Are they acids?

Had a good shop today in Boots!

    First basket:
    Clinique eyeliner
TOTAL £11.00, received 94 points and no 7 voucher

    Second basket:
3 x Bodyform (buy 2 get one free)
Med almond gift set (market at £8.00, went through at £6.00, on BOGOF used parenting voucher - so free!)
Natural Collection Vanilla musk bathcream (£1.99 BOGOF, used parenting voucher for 1/3 off, paid 65p in total)
No 7 awake eye gel (£7.50 - used voucher so cost £2.50)
TS Glosser (old style - £1.00)
    SC mask x 3
TS thickening shampoo mini (old style - 44p)
TOTAL £10.10, handed over 3 bodyform vouchers, so paid £7.10 cash and got another no 7 voucher! Received 456 points :T

I got the last three SC face packs in Weston High Street, on the bright side though there are loads of 17 brushes back in stock!

Am going to see if the no 7 organiser is still reduced by a third, and if so will be using my voucher on that - £4.99 will be a bargain! ;)

waht type of skin do you have and what strength was the clarifying lotion?

I used a sample of Mild Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion 2 and Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion.

My skin is combination and like I said in my original post about it, I've never had any reaction to anything before. I was very surprised at the reaction.

Hi, I've found a £3.50 or free delivery code for Boots online shopping. I have put bogof hair gel in the basket and a half price aftershave minature set. What I want to know before I go to the checkout is are there any bargains to be had online or is it a case of going instore to get all the bargains.

I've had a look at some of the pages but not all so apologies if this has already been asked.
    All credit cards paid off.
