Halifax end of 0% and their 3.9% offer

Options
My 9months 0% ended on the halifax one card a few days ago.

And as per the letter I got in early Nov 04, that I had to do nothing, and thta my rate on the balance transfer would be 3.9%, after the 0% ends. I let the debt sit there instead of paying it off.

Now I see my first online statement and it shows an APR rated interest charge of 12% instead of 3.9%

Now I call them, and first I get shuffled from person to person, and with the odd comments, that they can't work out the interest on my account, so I have to explain interest due / divided by debt balance X 12 = APR of 12.9%

Anyway they say to leave it till the date the actual amoutn is due and they are sure it will be amended by then to the 3.9% offer.

Is this what has happened to others with the Halifax One card ? Or are they feedign me a line........
