I like both them dresses - i also like the purple one here, but I haven't got plans to go anywhere *sniff*

Oh Hypno - which one have you gone for? and chubby pins - I doubt very much :naughty:

chubby pins definitely... i have never been able to buy long boots and while i was away on holiday you should have seen the size of my cankles! I was one continuous tube from calf to massively oversized foot!

    Being pregnant is SOOOO sexy!

Was just looking at the asos sale... Love this dress BUT... uhmmm anyone think that it's a smidgen impractical having to try and find a strapless bra? http://www.asos.com/Rachel-Bilson/Asos/Asos-Maternity-Asymmetric-Hem-Lace-Strappy-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=424400&cid=6413&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black
Seriously how many pregnant women do not wear bra's?? Not many I bet! :)
I don't think I'd brave that dress when not pregnant with my boob and thighs :o
Glam you don't want that one, you want the one i'm going to stick on ebay! (if I ever get round to it)

Off topic but hey, whats new? Did anyone else think ITV were wrong to show coronation street with the housefire storyline and then law and order with a storyline involving 17 people burning to death bearing in mind the house fire in Doncaster over the weekend? I was a bit mad about it and have emailed itv to say how insensitive I thought it was
House fire in doncaster?? Didn't see anything about that myself but not sure I even saw the news this weekend:o
I've only complained once to a tv station - it was about Delia's cheat show because they spent most of the program going on about catholicism - nothing wrong with being a catholic really I just thought it was ridiculous to focus so much on it when it was meant to be a COOKING show!
I keep meaning to complain about the nutella advert and the 'pooh' one but never manage it

    Hi All,

Sorry I haven't had a chance to read all the threads since last Friday, so I hope I haven't missed too much.

Cady and Glam, sorry your sickness is so bad. I seem to be throwing up just before going to bed rather than in the morning?!

I have cut milk out of my diet and am hoping it doesn't have any adverse affect. I stopped having cereal for breakfast so don't feel so sick when on the bus and stopped having coffee as that just seems to make me sick too. Am having a rough morning at work but not as bad as Cady.

I am hoping that the morning sickness does stop at 12 weeks for me (don't ruin my hopes it is the only thing that keeps me going sometimes) as I am getting married and going on honeymoon at 13.5 weeks and I really don't want to spend a 9 hour plane journey puking - you really wouldn't want to be sitting next to me then!!!

Anyway might see if I can read a bit more of the thread that I missed before I should go back to work.

Also the Ebay thing seems a good idea.
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

Went to the GP today, I am not amused!!!!

They won't give me anything for my hayfever, not even nasal sprays as they have not been proven 'safe' in pregnancy. Usually they would but because I'm high risk it's a big no. And the dizzyness is... hypertension. It was 133/112! So now I have to keep a BP diary till a week tomorrow when I see my Consultant. DH won't be happy, the checks have to be done 'at rest' after I have been sitting on my bum for atleast 30mins. GP asked if there was anything I could do to bring it down, yes said I, sit on my bum but with two kids it's not possible. Any headache, unusual visual disturbance, vomiting or feeling sick and I have to phone GP or hospital ASAP.

Looks like next week I will be medicated. I need to make it to 24 weeks.

Tia hope you feel better soon, at least now you can tell OH its doctors orders to sit down and rest. As mums we rarely get a chance lol.

To the ladies with morning sickness, can I have a moan about it as well lol. Mind at least this time around isn't as bad as the previous one. With both my DDs I was so sick I struggled to even keep water down in the day for a few weeks. Had to keep waiting till 7 ish at night for it to go off so I could eat and drink (not good for heartburn :( ).

With DS (first pregnancy) the sickness wasn't as bad, but from about 24 weeks developed projectile vomiting. No warning just sudden sickness after a meal, random times and meals yuck.
Don't ask about when I threw up in a posh restaurant. Sooooo embarassing.

This baby (no 4) the sickness is not as bad as with the girls so wondering if I will end up with another boy. I feel like its a boy and with all the others I sort of knew and was always right each time :). Mind you any sickness is horrible, and I am so tired, mind you having DS(10) DD1(5) DD2(1) doesn't help lol.

Tried to have a soak in the bath last night and ended up with boths girls getting in with me-OH brought them up as they "wanted to see you".

BTW I'm not on the list for due dates due 16/10/09 so around 12 weeks now.

  • Tia - make sure you put your feet up and rest! Doctors order and all that! OH will just have to put up with the mess or do something about it!

Ali, I'll go back and edit the list from earlier - saves adding another copy :D
