'No Brand' Vacuum Cleaner

Hello

My Dyson died so I bought an upright, turbo, bagless from Grattans catalogue for £70 (took 2 weeks to arrive and couldn't use my discount code but heyho!). Anyway, other than the fact that it is very heavy & noisy, it is a very good vac however, when I read the instructions properly I found that I'm supposed to replace the 'flat' filters every 3-6months BUT there is no brand name, address or contact phone number. I know I can probably find something similar enough for the filters but what happens after the warranty is up in 12 months time? So I'm thinking of sending it back, do you think I'm being too fussy/pessimistic? According to Grattans customer care, it is made in China and that's all they know! If that information (or lack of it) had been shown I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I would send it back if I were you. You could then replace it with one of the hoovers from Tesco's in this thread for less money :)

The Typhoon Turbo that is shown on the Tesco website is exactly the one I've had from Grattans! Thanks for the advice, I think I will return it and shop around (only got it from Grattans because it is delivered to the door and stuff usually arrives within a couple of days and with the discount it would have been £55) :o

Next do the morphy richards bagless one for about £69 and it works a treat we havent changed the filter once yet as it is plastic we just wash it in the machine and hey presto it still works perfectly ok( i think filters are like inks with a printer the company sucks you in with a fair priced printer and stings you on filters).
    Money's too tight to mention!!!
