February holiday ideas and advice

Hello,
Hope you can help! I (and the hubby) want to go away for a week in February, somewhere hot. Egypt would be the ideal temperature really, mid 20's I think. I'm a bit fussy about where I stay
and want a 5* hotel, but being a newbie Moneysaver I want it for as little as possible !!! ;D ;D
My criteria really are, 5*, cheap, anywhere hot...I find that places like Expedia, you have to be too specific about where you want to go in order for it to search for you, and other websites, like the Teletext one, the search engines don't allow you to be specific enough about what class hotel you want, so you end up with all the crappy hotels and 18-30 holidays, and get really excited to see a cheap deal only to find when you look into it, that it's a 2* self-catering cardboard box in the naff end of Playa de las Americas.
I'd really appreciate your advice or suggestions (a) for where to go, and (b) good websites...
many thanks

Have you tried https://www.lastminute.com? A couple of my friends went to Egypt in Feb of this year after finding a holiday on there. I think their hotel was a 5* with numerous pools/gyms etc. They paid £350 each for 10 days including flights.
I hope that you find something!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Thanks heaps Vicky, Lastminute looks great, you can put the criteria in just how I want them (i.e. hot, 5*, anywhere!) and they have some great Tunisia deals on at the moment ;D ;D

Send us all a postcard. Alternatively tell us which hotel you're at and we'll turn up. ;D ;D (joke, but it's so miserable here at the moment I want to be anywhere but here)Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0
