Try carol nash, bennetts and ridersure for a start.
There are cashbacks on https://www.quidco.co.uk for most of those so best to go through quidco website then you can claim your cashback.0 -
Also try, Devitt, Motorcycle Direct, The AA, Insurance 2000 or you could try The Bike Insurer which is an aggregator dedicated to bikes, Go Compare and Confused also have Bike offerings. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0

Well said Missile and it applies to everything in life
People tend to find that out after they have made a claim.
Weight up the cost of the policy, the cover, the excess and the quality of the Insurer.0 -
Have a look at ebike insurance.
They might not be cheapest but they are flexible (you can add bikes etc.on-line) and they include legal expenses and breakdown.
I also got £40 quidco from them but don't know if that's still available (paid out very quick as well).
If you think you might want to be flexible e.g. add bikes, add business cover etc. then be aware that the cheapest up front may end up being more expensive ultimately.
ebike were very good for mid-term adjustments and have some good features.
Carole Nash also come pretty highly recommended.
I'd also suggest considering doing extra qulifications.
It can help your insurance but it can also be really good fun.
There is free help available from events run by the police/councils like Bike Safe and Ride to Arrive and these can give you an insurance discount.
If you want more then you can do ROSPA/IAM which is relatively cheap for what you get as it's done by volunteers.
I've done Bike safe and IAM and the better I get the more I enjoy my riding (and it's not about going slowly - oh no).
I am now doing ROSPA because I'm just getting so much out of it.
However many people just do it for the insurance discount, so it's worth considering even if you just do a one day free Bike safe course.0 -
