Spot on. There are strict rules on what lights and colours can be on a car and were. As for insurance, they may suddenly consider her not to be a good risk and bump up her premium and if you dont tell them you may find she is not insured because you have failed to advise them on a modification to the car. Even things like none standard wheels, exhaust tail pipes etc have to be advised of, they then decide if and how much extra they will charge.0

Oh for petes sake.
In my opinion, and most others by the looks of this, these lights are a joke and just asking to get you pulled over all the time.
People are just giving you their opinions on it, which I happen to agree with.
Lol2 angels in heaven :A0 -
no just truthful ...
besides which "mature" drivers would want neon lights on the bottom of their car ... you will never see them
they sort of reflect back off the road so the underside of your car glows green or whatever and yes, they are awful!
don't understand it at all but it seems the yarmouth youth like racing up and down the seafront with them on.
I think its a yarmouth thing, cause ive never seen them anywher else0 -
I think it must be a Norfolk thing - the rest of the UK moved into the 21st century some years ago. ;>)0

It should be law for chav's to have them installed so that we can see them coming and give them a wide berth.0

Some of the posts above are thick, if you don't know the law go and study it, why are you driving?
These lights are illegal on the road unless switched off or legal off the road when switched on/off, i.e. private land, car shows, etc...0 -

It is. I live on the Norfolk/Suffolk boarder and we go to Yarmouth for a cheesy seaside day out each year.
The [strike]chavs[/strike] youngsters, like to drive up and down, cars lit up like Blackpool (which is ironic) stupidly assuming Joe Public is admiring their £400 Ford Escort with £3000 worth of plastic stuck on it as they drive past.0 -
A completely pointless aste of money!!:rotfl:0
