Fixed Term Contract, experiences needed

I have just raised a tribunal claim against a recent employer for ending a fixed term contract early due to "redundancy", but for which there was no real basis. I can't go into too many details for obvious reasons however the CAB advised allowing the case to get to court.
However I'm struggling to find case law examples where the Fixed Term Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2002 (phew!) have been used.
Do any readers have experience from either side of the fence on this regulation in practice? The stress is driving me mad...
