Sorry, only just picked up this post. For the future, or for anyone else who is in the same postion, phone Phoenix Trading and they would be able to put you in touch with a local Trader - 0208 875 9944, or look on the Facebook page - seach for Phoenix Tading - Company0 -
Hi All
I last posted on here when I first started Phoenix Trading last September-ish.
I absolutely love the products and after a bit of a slow start due to work commitments, I have recently done my first brochure drops and made £200 from around 40x brochures dished out! I was over the moon, it's really given me boost to get going properly!
As I have a full time job and use Phoenix T as an additional income so just applying for NI exemption by completing a CF10 form for 'small earnings' - My question is, on official documents what do you put when asked 'Occupation when self employed'?
Do you put Independant Trader with Phoneix Trading or Greetings Card Seller.........?0 -

many thanks, I emailed head office in the end and was given a contact for another local rep who couldnt attend either,
Its a shame as the summer fete was one of our biggest yet and im sure a rep would have done well,

eek well after reading on here and elsewhere about phoenix ive sent off for an application pack!!
i also do avon 16-20 hours a week so hoping i'll have time to fit both in!! Im just a bit bored of avon now! having lots of supply problems and zero support or guidance off my manager.. i dont even KNOW any other reps in my area and ive been a rep for nearly 2 years. Im in the top 1000 selling reps in the country and it supports me and my 2 year old daughter (im a single mum)... but i want something new and exciting that i can really believe in!
want phoenix to be the part of my job that i enjoy! Im not expecting to make money fast with it... but i want to look forward to making sales for once...!! I used to make my own cards as a hobby so im card crazy and ive seen some the products on the website and think they look amazing!!
cant wait to get my information pack!!0 -

Ive got a couple of questions wonder if any of you can help me..
as a trader can you pay for your orders with a credit card?? (i see we dont get credit with the company and have to pay up front)
and also
If someone cancels their order are you stuck with the goods and out of pocket? or do phoneix have a returns policy?
thanks in advance for your help.

Yes we can pay by credit card, I always do. I have never actually thought about returning stock, if a order is cancelled on me I just keep the goods and when I get new orders I always check what I have in stock and use it up then. Stock I hold I sell at fairs, parties and use myself. If you don't want to have cash tied up in stock be very firm that it is cash up front. To be honest I have only had one order cancelled and Ive been trading a year.
hope that helps0 -
brilliant thanks for the speedy answers!
im really nervous about signing on the dotted line...! Must be the commitment phobe in me.:rotfl:
part of me is thinking i only have to make £150ish in sales to make my £45 back though and i have 12 months to do that i suppose...(Know i need an extra £20 in sales to cover delivery cost for every order i have to put through though though so strictly its NOT just the £150 in sales but yknow.. roughly its £150!)0
