HSBC Regular Saver

Hi

Does anyone have some info on the 8% regular savings account with HSBC Advance account holder. I have an account with them (Advance) and am able to put away £250 per month for 12 months, total £3,000, are there any snags with this type of saving?

I assum I won't be able to make any withdrawals over the year, not that I want to. What happens after the year is up, is interest added on monthly or at the end of 12 months? Is £250 the most one can add? At present the interest I recieve is 2.9% annual with "Saga". paid monthly.

Thanks to all for any advice.
