This Month (march 09) determines next academic student loan interest rate

And i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the quantitative easing measure enacted by the bank of england is going to up the cpi/rpi for this month?

The rate was otherwise set to go negative, so is this quantitative easing really bad timing for students with loans?
