Who is responsible?

I have been reclaiming my ppi back on a loan sold to me by loans.co.uk financed by picture, loans.co.uk have said I was mis-sold so I am entitled to my ppi back.
It has been about 4 weeks since I gave permission for picture to give loans.co.uk my figures. According to picture, loans.co.uk are responsible as they sold the loan but loans.co.uk say it is not there responsibility to pay me out.
Who is my claim against?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Mark

    Hi Mark

This always seems to be the case if both broker and lender are involved.

Now that you have had a reply, get it photocopied, write to loans.co.uk, enclose a copy of that letter, with a letter of complaint, or if you've still got the same copy as you sent to the lender, use that and tell them this is the letter you used, and you now wish these to investigate this.

However, I am aware that Picture no longer trade and people who have complaints ongoing with these, they are being dealt with through the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) here:
    http://www.fscs.org.uk/contacts/

I'm surprised they have not informed you on this, but sure someone here will come along and post in this case who are going through complaints with these, but as they did confirm it was loans.co.uk I would write to them and see what they have to say.

I am not too sure if these are still active, hopefully someone will come along to post and confirm soon.;)

I take it its the same company "Picture".

Pinknico a helpful poster on here has a claim in with the FSCS with these and waiting to hear anything anytime, I'm sure Pinknico will post here when she comes across this post maybe with further info for you.;)

Good luck with this and there is a way around this. XX

I would write to loans.co.uk and take it from there, you may get a better response from them, let us know and we shall take it from there, but I feel this is the way to go about this one for now, unfortunately I know its a right pain as I have been there myself being pushed from pillar to post and the main of the people have, but don't give up hun, give it your best shot, then get back to us as soon as you've had a response, good luck.;)
