Defaults & O2

Hi All

I am trying to get a default removed that has been imposed by O2 in January 2009. The bill is paid in full but was paid 6 months late. this is because i closed the account last July but was unaware of an outstanding bill. i only found out that it was owed when i check my credit report - i have no bill information from them nor phone calls yet they claim they sent them out at the time.

now the bill show as satisfied on my report but they will not remove the default completely and it is affecting my ability to get credit - can anyone tell me how to get it removed?

thanks

it's after 6 years. There's alot of procedure that they have to do to give adefault (properly) ask them to provide a copy of the default notice and when it was mailed to you (and where). Without this they can't issue a default and you can request it be removed.
  • thanks I will give it a go
