Should i cancel my PPI whilst waiting for responce

Hi all

Just a question I hope someone can hel me or at least navigate were I could get such help.

I am waiting for responce from Lloyds and not sure if I should cancel my existing PPI or should I wait untill I got back from Lloyds.

It has been quite long time since I complained about PPI and while I wait should I still pay my monthly PPI or should I cancel it. The only problem I am concered is I would not like to influence Lloyds TSB decision.
Thanks all for your time.

    Hi there

I take it this is regarding a loan PPI?

If this is worthless to you hun, I can't see why not, its been a long while since we had a loan from them and cannot remember now if you cancel they start a new loan without PPI, but check the terms and conds anyway just in case.

So you have already started the complaint procedures then ?

If so how long ago ?

only problem with Lloyds is i don't think you can just cancel the PPI..you have to take out a new loan without it..

we've just heard back from the Ombudsman about our claim which was started last April...and Lloyds have until the 11th March to respond.

    Hi meana

Yes I believe that is the case with lloyds, so thanks for posting in, good luck with yours.

I have recently won a case (lloyds) though the FOS, seems like they have lots of lloyds complaints to deal with, and I feel you will have a good outcome here, so good luck to you hunni.:A ;)
    And everyone else too......
