insect screen door thingy

As soon as it gets warm enough I love having my front door open all day. Only problems are insects (well moths yuck) mean I have to close the door as soon as it starts getting dark, and we now have a dog who wanders away if the door is open.
Does anyone know where I can get one of those door like they have in America/Australia please? but preferably one that is cheap and you can fit and take off when you move?
thanks

What you are looking for is a 'screen door' - plenty of sites come up on web searches for this. I can see a problem with the dog though as the bottom section at least would need to be metal mesh not textile.
If these are too expensive it would be easy enough to make a simple lightweight wood frame and staple fabric to it. Alternatively, in the mediterranean (sp?) I have seen wrought iron gates covered in insect mesh.0 -
Another alternative might be a baby stair-gate at the bottom to contain the dog, then just buy a length of net-curtain type material for the actual screen. This is dead easy to fix using standard net-curtain spring wire and a couple of small hooks.. The stair-gate you could probably get for nothing on freecycle, or very cheap second-hand. So all in all it would be cheap and effective, and very easy to remove ( especially if you get one of those stair gates that is held in by pressure against the wall, rather than screwed in ).0

Hi,
it's not insects that annoy me, it's cats.
I've just moved into a wee bungalow, used to be in a middle flat, and now that the
weather is getting better I like my windows and door open, in the last week I've had
a cat in my bedroom, and last night one in my kitchen.
Don't want to put screens up, and the cats would just jump over the wee gate, is
there maybe sonic type thing that would deter cats and insects?0
