Hello,
Ive been thinking about setting up a business for a while, and have got a good business plan, etc. The princes trust were interested in it, but the next funding date is at the start of May, and while doing market research i received a few orders to be sent at the end of April.
The princes trust said that if i wanted to start up sooner, to approach a bank and ask about an enterprise finance guarantee loan, but the woman they told me to contact regarding this seems to be the most unfriendly and unhelpful woman ever.
So, what else should i take, to make a good impression? My credit rating is good, but like i said in a different post, i was rejected from a business account with my own bank recently, after applying online. I think this is because i have a few searches on my credit file, after my mum used my details to apply for a loan.
Ive got some drawings of what i wish to create, but cannot make a prototype without funding, and i have my business plan. What else should i take? Im applying instore.
Oh, and how long after ive applied does it usually take to get the loan? Im really excited about getting started, and want to be able to give an accurate date to purchasers.

Get a ltd company sorted, get your mum as md and then get them to apply for the business account and then sign over company to you after a while.
Im sure a few searches wont hurt your credit file. Go to barclays, they shouldnt have a problem with you.Kind Regards
