Got unlock code, but can't do it? can anyone help pls?

Hiya,

I have the SE t303 mobile and I've just received the unlock code an instructions from t-mobile. These are the instructions -

1.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Switch the telephone on with the T-Mobile UK SIM card inside the telephone.
2.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Gently toggle to the left (this may show your message screen).
3.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Press ** (you will not see the stars on your screen).
4.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Gently toggle to the left.
5.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Scroll and select ESL.
6.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Display shows ECK.
7.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Enter unlock code ……..
8.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Press OK.
9.[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]Display shows unlocked.
Only thing is, I can't get it, I toggle left and it brings up the text options then i enter the 2 ** and I can't get any further than that, there is nothing showing the ECK, I can get a screen that says personalize- network-network subset- SP-corparate.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong please??

try taking the sim out of the phone, then turning it on and entering <**< (where < is left on the navigation buttons & * is the star key)

you should now get a screen which allows you to select the option you need

Hi Gaming-guy I still get the personalize mnc2 screen then I get the options newtork-NCk , network subset-NSCK , SP-SPCK, do i enter the code in one of these options? as i can see no mention of the ESL or ECK?

its normally network nck so go in that and you should be fine

what does it say when you put the <**< code in what does it say lock or unlock
